Ok, so here it is... my trip to Chicago... I went for Lollapalooza primarily... Nothing like a three day music festival in hot hot weather... hahaThe one thing that sucked the most was the you can't get in until 11 am on the first day... well we got there a little early and waited and waited in lines and at 11 we still were not allowed in -- didn't get in until almost 11.30... damn the man that made us wait!

Here is the famous Clarence Buckingham Fountain located in Grant Park... Grant Park is where the festival was located...

The picture over on the right side there was taken from the ladies room located on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Center... Yes, you read that correctly... from the ladies room... If I so wanted to I could have sat on the toilet and seen that view... but I just went in to take the picture because I heard of the beautiful view... haha
One morning we were going to go to some breakfast place called Toast for breakfast... but the wait was over an hour.... (as I said that morning, it must be some damn good toast). So instead we went to a place (see picture right) called Nookies... AND it was FREAKING AWESOME! Do you see my waffle below... so very scrumptious... It was huge and yes, I ate it all... haha

So you can't go to Chicago without getting deep dish Chicago style pizza (especially when you LOVE pizza as much as I do). Went to Giordano's and let me tell you... YUMMY... It was well worth the 45 minute wait (see pizza below)

So the best act I saw while at Lolla would be Iggy and the Stooges... YES IGGY FREAKING POP was at Lolla... See that's him below there... sorry it's not to close up but there were tons of people... as you can see...

So in front of the Chicago Sun Times (the newspaper) is this moose statue/sculpture thing... that um is equipped with all its man parts... I wonder... if the artist that made this thought one day to give the moose it's "business".

Also went to the famous Navy Pier... This is my third trip to Chicago in as many years and this was the first time I had gone to the pier... great view of the city from there.

And I will leave with this very last picture... taken on a day that was most likely 100 degrees mid-day... sweat pouring off of me... and I see this man in a bright pink ski jacket and white jeans... granted the jacket matches his head band and he wasn't wearing a shirt... But for the love... DUDE it's 100 degrees... I had to take a picture because that is a memory that will last me a lifetime... haha
