On the day before Mother's day, my mom and step-dad, husband, two boys and I were planning on going out to dinner to celebrate. We figured if we went on Saturday in the late afternoon we would beat the crowds that would be arriving for both dinner and those on Sunday.
So we go to the establishment, where there were plenty of open tables. Unfortunately, there were no open tables for us. Apparently since there were 6 of us we needed to be seated at a larger table. The hostesses were very uncommunicative about this and it made me think that we would have a 40 minute wait because of the two kids.
We left there and went to my favorite, PF Changs where we were treated fabulously. I cannot say anything bad about that meal.
When we got home, I was still slightly irritated about the way we were treated at the first restaurant, so I opened up my laptop and typed up a complaint. I wasn't mean I was however blunt and to the point.
Yesterday the general manager phoned me, expressing his concern and telling me over and over again that this is not how they do things and he wants to right the wrong that his staff put upon me and my family.
We shall see if this right get wronged.
